Many of the stone constructions are assumed to mimic the mountain surroundings. This is a good example. It�s also fascinating to note that the the four corners of the stone in the foreground point to the four cardinal directions. How did they know these? It could have only occurred from a mathematical understanding of the movements of the sun ...or maybe they had a compass -- who knows? :-)
