my favorite building -- the Temple of the Sun. There are two windows within the round shaped building -- 1 points to the sun rise on longest day of the year -- Dec. 21, and 1 points to the sun rise on the shortest day of the year -- Jun 21 ..the day I was there! This is one of the only buildings that represent the astronomical understanding of the Quechoan in their architecture. It�s too bad that they did not have a written language to share more of their understanding.
